Francisca Kakra Forson Esq., is a lawyer with over 17 years’ experience as a journalist. Her submissions on Citi 97.3 FM‘s breakfast clearly show that Forson has a voice that informs with clarity, and a passion for transparency and accountability.
Francisca Kakra Forson is undoubtedly one of the most accomplished journalists with a legal flair.
Her journey in journalism began with one of Ghana’s leading media houses, where she distinguished herself as a news anchor and broadcaster.
From delivering the Joy Midday News on radio to presenting JoyNews Today on television, she became a familiar and trusted voice to many Ghanaians.
Her thoughtful commentaries through Frankly Francisca further reflected her depth and passion for public discourse. She equally worked with Metro TV, where she anchored major news and current affairs programmes, including Good Afternoon Ghana, Inside Pages and The Verdict, which provided coverage of the 2020 Presidential Election Petition.
Beyond the screen, she served as Acting News Editor, and for nearly two decades, Francisca has demonstrated that journalism transcends reporting and editing, but a commitment to truth, accountability and public service.
Her expertise has equally earned her recognition on the international stage. As a freelance journalist, she has worked with renowned media organisations including WADR, VOA News and TRT World, bringing stories from West Africa to a global audience with professionalism and credibility.
If you ask me, I will simply say Francisca is someone who asks the difficult and hard questions many are thinking, but with a smile that makes them difficult to avoid.
In communication, Francisca has supported the Institute of Statistical, Social and Economic Research and led corporate communications at the Chamber of Bulk Oil Distributors. She serves as a Lead Communications Strategist at Platinum PR. Francisca is doing well.
My words are not an overhype, the world has actually recognized her. She received the Best Road Safety Reporter Award and was selected as one of UNICEF Ghana’s Equality Campaign influencers.
Today, the Legal Academy (the biggest lawyers and law students’ platform) has chosen to celebrate you our learned colleague of the Ghana Bar Association and the Ghanaian legal fraternity. We are proud of you.
May God continue to grant you wisdom, strength and greater heights as you keep informing minds, shaping narrative and inspiring the next generation of communicators.
